Brady's first Haircut!!

Brady finally had his first official hair cut in August.  I had trimmed his hair a few times, but this was the first legit cut.  He did an awesome job sitting still the whole time.  The best part was the sucker at the end!!

Canada 2014

We headed up to Canada in the beginning of August as a family of 5 plus Moose.  Space was a little tighter than the last time we went up.

As always we had such a great time!  The twins were able to really enjoy it being older this time around (last time they were only 6 months old). Brady and Hailey had a lot of first this week: blueberry and raspberry picking, fishing with grandpa on the boat and dock, canoe ride with Mom and Dad, trip to the dump to see the bears, rides on the "tractor" and campfire with smores!!!!!! I'd say it was a pretty darn good trip to Canada!

The kids loved playing with the minnows.  We would dump the leftover minnows on the dock and let them flop around and H& B would try to pick them up.  It was hysterical!!!

Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Murray for such a memorable trip to Canada.  Seeing it through Brady and Hailey's eyes was so exciting! Next year will be even more crazy with Colin in the mix! We can't wait to do it again!

Des Moines with the Murrays

We headed to Des Moines in mid-July to meet up with Jon, Kate and Alexis for a fun-filled weekend.  We don't get to see them as much as we would like, so we figured Des Moines was about half-way between Minneapolis and Kansas City.

 

The cousins had so much fun running around the hotel, swimming in the pool and walking through the Farmer's Market.

Apparently I did not take many photos during this trip.  It doesn't even look like Colin was there, but he was!!  He was mostly in the stroller since he wasn't quite walking yet!

Flaherty Family Vacation 2014

We headed to Anna Maria, FL June 28th- July 5th with the whole Flaherty family- all 13 of us! Nani and Poppa rented a large house for all of us to stay at for the week.  We had a blast!  The house had a pool, so we had plenty of pool time and the beach was only a block away.

Our favorite outings were to the local ice cream shop in the evening, strolls on the boardwalk and of course, the donut shop!

 The girls got to enjoy the 4th of July parade! (Daddy and the boys stayed back- they were a little under the weather that day.)

 

 The cousins got to enjoy a lot of quality time together!

 

 The boys got to go golfing a few times.

 They even saw an alligator on the course!!

Thanks Mom and Dad we had an awesome time!!  We are glad we could all celebrate your Anniversary together!! When can we do it again??!!
