Last night of 4

It is hard to believe these 2 little guys are already going to be a big brother and sister.  Exactly 14.5 months from tomorrow (May 1st) we were meeting them for the first time!  

I never expected my first night away from these sweethearts to be at the hospital with their little sibling.  Brian and I have truly been blessed by God!  

 

Thank you for all the well wishes for tomorrow! We can't wait to share our new bundle of joy with all of you!  

 

Family of Four

We enjoyed our last weekend as a family of 4 in a big way!  We were able to go to the outdoors part of the MN Zoo since we finally had some Spring Weather!  Not all of the animals were out yet, but we did get to see some farm baby animals (don't worry grandpa, there was absolutely no touching involved!). We also enjoyed a nice picnic lunch with the kids.

 

 

We also hit up one of the parks in our neighborhood, played in the yard, and enjoyed a little water table splashing outside.

On Sunday, we enjoyed our last time at mass, for awhile at least!  We discovered that our stacking cups were no longer a church appropriate toy.  Brady would "smash" (hit them with his hand) the cups, just as Dad had taught him with the balls at home.  Naturally they would roll a few feet away, then we would crawl to it and "smash" it again. How can you not laugh at that!  Hailey was similarly active and wanted to walk to everything, and not just read books and play with toys like she normally does.

On Sunday afternoon we went to my parents for a last supper, if you will. The kids had a great time as usual and really seemed to enjoy their diaper time, more so than usual!

 

 

 

The Grotto

I had been trying to brainstorm a fun, new play area for the kids since Spring was never coming.  So I came up with an inside pool area.  We may as well get some use out of it!  I filled it up with blankets and pillows.   Brian decided to call it "The Grotto" (a la Playboy Mansion). B & H absolutely love to snuggle into the blankets and pillows! Lately we have had the whole family in it before the kids go to bed! 

 

Children's Museum

Daddy took a day off of work and we were all able to go to the Children's Museum for the first time! The kids loved all the fun play areas and even made a few friends along the way!

 

The water area was by far the most popular for Brady and Hailey (and Daddy!).

Cousin Playdate

The kids were lucky enough to have a play date with their cousins a few weekends ago.  I just adore watching these four kiddos play together! 

 

1st Easter Egg Hunt

Our trip to Sioux Falls was so busy that we ended up doing an Easter Egg hunt at our place.  I would say it was a huge hit!

Mommy Time

 Knowing that Baby #3 is right around the corner (C-section: May 1st), I have been trying to do a little bit more of everything with the kids- extra snuggles, kisses and hugs!  It's hard to believe these guys are going to be a big brother and big sister so soon!

 

 

2013 Easter

The family went down to Sioux Falls, SD for Easter this year.  We knew it would be our last time down their for awhile since baby #3 was soon approaching. We had an amazing time, as always, and were able to see a lot of the extended family.  The kids just love their Grandma and Grandpa Murray! Thanks for the Easter baskets!

 

Grandma and Grandpa Murray got a new toy at their house that the kids went crazy over- a remote controlled car that has a lot of bright lights and makes loud noises! I'm not sure who had more fun- the kids chasing it or Dad driving it!

 

 

 

Pure Exhaustion

I guess our play date and lunch was just too exhausting for this little guy!

Mr. Mischief

I took a quick phone call this morning and came back to the kitchen to find rice all over the place! Thanks Brady!

He struck again later when I found him playing in the upstairs bathroom in the toilet water! That was a first! Mandatory seats down from now on!

Moose Love

These two absolutely love their Mr. Moose!  Lately, it seems they have become even more attached and are constantly climbing over him, playing with his mouth, and pretty much anything else you can imagine. 

 

Moose has been absolutely amazing with the kids!  Plus, he is also very handy with cleaning up after meals. Unfortunately, Moose has gained 5 lbs. since his last check-up.  Whoops!

Apparently we are not feeding these kids enough!
