Twins at the Twins

Nani and Poppa were very generous and let us use their tickets to take the twins to their first Minnesota Twins game!!

It was a big hit until it started pouring after 1 1/2 innings. We soon recovered with some mini donuts and now the kids think baseball games consist of running around and mini donuts.   Atleast we got some photos before it poured!!
We'll have to try again next year...

Brady-isms

I have a few funny Brady things for you:

1. We were at my parents when my Mom was in the yard and put a frog she had found in a bucket for the kids. The kids loved it, especially Brady! First he picked it up, then threw it into the grass before I could get to him. I put it back in the bucket for H & C to see it again. The frog then jumped out of the bucket and Brady proceeded to stomp on it. Luckily he missed. No more frogs for this kid!

2. We were finishing up baths and I was getting Brady's PJs on when he says:
B: " I got a penis."
Mom: Yes, you do.
Brian: is it big or little
B: it's a BIG penis. Daddy has little penis.

3. Brady grabbed off a tomato from Nani's garden, then proceeded to eat it and make a mess all over his face.  A few minutes later he was playing with the neighbor's white dog. You guessed it... The dog had red tomato all over his back. And the neighbors had just come back from the groomers. Classic!

4. We arrived at the car after leaving from swim lessons.I was loading in H & C when I saw Brady  put his arm in my car's exhaust pipe. I pulled it out right away and his arm was almost complete black from the soot.

Where does he come up with this stuff?! At least I can say he is creative!

Cabella Museum

On our way back from Omaha, we stopped at a "museum" called Cabella's!!     It was the best entertainment for the kids!
We walked thorough the fish aquarium, saw all sorts of animals and sat on a tractor.  Who knew Cabella's was so great?

Scott's College Graduation- May 2014

The family headed down to Omaha, Nebraska for Scott's graduation from Creighton undergraduate in May.  He got his degree in Chemistry and will be starting pharmacy school in the fall at Creighton!! (Still so crazy that all 3 boys followed the same path!).

It was the first time since Brian and I had been back to campus and the first time the kids had been there.  We had such a great time touring around town! Plus, the cousins had a blast!

We had such a great time spending the weekend in Omaha with the whole Murray clan. Hopefully we will make it back before Scott's next graduation!
Congrats Scottie!!!

Groceries x3

I have avoided grocery shopping with all 3 kiddos for 15 months (Colin's age), until the other day...  Luckily I had only a handful of things to get.

Highlights of the trip:
1. B& H waving and saying Hi and Bye to anyone in earshot!

2. I didn't realize I had stopped in front of the refillable water gallons. I discovered 5 gallon cartons in the car with the twins. Luckily it was soon after!

3. Colin does not like to sit still in the chair. He kept standing up!
I was checking out at the counter and the  guy at the register said: "Um, Mam, your kid is standing up."

Well, maybe in another 15 months I'll do it again!!!

Summertime!!

The kiddos love their water time, but sometimes this momma is just too lazy to fill up the pool. So I like to fill up buckets that the kids play with. It seems to be a hit every time!

They love throwing things off the deck!!
Yep, all the kids wear the same diapers. There is only about a 10# difference between the boys!!

Minnesota Landscape Arboretum

The day following Colin's birthday was spent at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum with Grandma and Grandpa Murray.  We had some time to just smell the roses and enjoy the spring weather!! It was perfect!

Happy 1st Birthday Colin!!

We celebrated Colin's 1st birthday (May 1st) with family and close friends.  It was a nautical theme for our little sailor!
It is hard to believe this milestone has already come and gone.  Colin is our fun-loving, adventurous and noisy kiddo that makes us fall in love more and more each day!  Happy Birthday C baby!

I can't get enough of these little grins!

Colin seemed to enjoy the cake, but no big "smash" of the cake.
0 for 3 for the Murray kiddos!

Hailey was very helpful in helping Colin open the gifts!

Thank you for everyone that helped us celebrate our little man!

Easter 2014

I almost forgot to post the Easter pictures...

We headed down to Sioux Falls for Easter weekend and had a great time as always!  The Easter bunny heard we weren't at home, so he came to Grandma and Grandpa's house.  The twins had such a fun time finding the Easter eggs!  Colin decided to sleep through the hunt, better luck next year.

I just adore this pic with Uncle Scott!

We headed back to Minnesota on Easter Sunday and had another Easter at Nani and Poppa's house with the cousins. The Easter Bunny also made it to Nani and Poppa's house and brought Easter baskets.  Auntie Jamie got all the cousins matching pajamas!  So fun!
